Well I just came from the post office this morning shipping out a few orders. As usual the clerks advise that the cost of mailing has gone up again. It is starting to be quite expensive to ship charts out to you the customer.
As I am sure some of you have noticed if you look at the mailing label I have for over a year not charged you the customer the actual cost of shipping. So far eating the costs has been my way to keep everyone happy, but I would like to find an alternative so that my charts get to you the stitcher without costing an arm and a leg.
I therefore have been considering making my charts available by PDF file format as well as, by leaflet . The PDF file format would cost less than the leaflets since you are the ones printing the actual chart. As I have stated, this is at the moment my simplest way of combating the cost of postage, but need to consider all the ramifications in doing this.
Watch for more news regarding this in the very near future.

March is here already and spring has not yet arrived!
We are working hard here on the teaching pieces for the fall show in Toronto at the Creativ Festival. We will be teaching a cool dragon booklet and dragon bellpull piece that will be show exclusive and not available for retail until summer 2010.
But, we did sneak in a new dragon "Welsh Dragon" that has now released and is on the website.
And since we will not be releasing our teaching pieces for a year watch for some other very special designs:
- a dragon saying with a cool border
- a small fairy with a celtic border
- and a new medieval piece that will be done in a etui style design
Watch for sneak peeks and previews of designs in the coming weeks.
